iPhone 11 repair in Singapore, where the screen type sets the price

The iPhone 11 is seven years old and can still run iOS 26, which is why so many people repair it rather than replace it. The price question starts with one fact: the 11 has an LCD screen, while the 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max have OLED, which moves a screen job between two of our price bands. This page gives the bands first, then each fault, and says plainly when a repair is and is not worth doing.

Telling an iPhone 11, 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max apart

The three phones launched together in 2019 and look alike in a case, but they are not priced alike. Identify yours before anyone quotes or orders a part, because the wrong screen is the classic expensive mistake in phone repair.

Count the rear lenses. The iPhone 11 has two. The 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max have three, arranged in a triangle.

Feel the back glass. The 11 has a glossy back. The Pro models have a frosted, matte back with a glossy patch around the cameras.

Compare the size. Screens measure 6.1 inches on the 11, 5.8 on the 11 Pro and 6.5 on the 11 Pro Max.

Ask the phone. Open Settings, then General, then About, then Model Name.

What matters most is the screen type. The standard iPhone 11 has an LCD, lit from behind and cheaper to replace. The 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max have OLED screens, which make their own light and cost more. On our bands that single difference is the gap between the “iPhone 11 / XR” tier and the “iPhone X / 12 / 13” tier for screens, and it is why the same cracked glass costs more on a Pro.

What an iPhone 11 repair costs here

These are our standing bands. Each is “from around”, not a quote, and each matches our iPhone repair cost guide.

  • iPhone 11 screen (LCD): from around S$85 to S$200.
  • iPhone 11 battery: from around S$60 to S$110.
  • iPhone 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max screen (OLED): from around S$110 to S$380.
  • iPhone 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max battery: from around S$80 to S$150.

Where a phone lands inside a band depends on the model (the Pro Max has the larger panel), on a genuine-grade or quality aftermarket part, and on what the free diagnosis finds. Many screen and battery jobs are often done while you wait, subject to parts.

Everything else is quoted, not listed. Face ID, back glass, camera, charging port, water damage and board-level repair depend on what is found once the phone is open. They are quoted by model after a free diagnosis, in writing, and nothing starts until you approve the figure.

“Replacement price” can mean replacing a part or replacing the phone. This page covers the first; we do not quote prices for new phones.

Screen: LCD on the 11, OLED on the Pros

A crack with a sharp picture and touch that works everywhere is one kind of problem. Lines, blotches or dead patches are another, because the display underneath took the hit. On the iPhone 11 that typically shows as lines, white or yellow blotches or uneven backlight. On the 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max it typically shows as coloured lines, ink-like dark patches or areas that stay black.

Rule out the free explanations first. If touch has stopped but the glass is intact, force restart the phone, peel off the screen protector and dry your hands and the screen. If touch still fails in a strip, suspect a digitiser or connector fault, which can be a far smaller job than a new panel.

Glass-only or full panel

A glass-only repair separates cracked outer glass from a display that still works and bonds new glass on. It is only possible when the panel beneath is completely undamaged, so it is mainly a question for the OLED 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max, where the panel is the expensive part. On the LCD iPhone 11 the whole assembly is cheap enough that replacing it is the usual route. Glass-only versus full panel is the main reason two quotes for the same repair can differ so much, so ask which one you are being quoted.

Genuine-grade or quality aftermarket

Where a real choice exists on your model, we offer both, say what each costs and gives up, and leave the decision with you. Expect differences in colour accuracy, brightness and touch feel. iOS can show a message in Settings about a display it cannot verify as original, and True Tone may not carry across. Neither is a fault in the repair, so ask what yours is likely to show. For every model, see iPhone screen replacement.

Face ID repair: what decides the cost

On the 11, 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max alike, the honest answer to a Face ID cost question is the same: it depends on what has failed, and nobody can name a fair price before the phone has been tested.

Face ID is not one camera. Behind the notch sits a group of parts Apple calls the TrueDepth system: a flood illuminator that lights your face with infrared, a dot projector that throws a pattern of tiny infrared dots, and an infrared camera that reads the result. Flex cables link them to the logic board, and the earpiece and sensor flex travels with the screen assembly. If any link fails, Face ID stops.

  • It failed right after a screen replacement. The usual cause is a sensor flex that was torn or not transferred, while the sensors are fine. This is often the most repairable case.
  • It failed after a drop or a soaking. A cracked flex or corroded connector can sometimes be repaired. It is case by case, and we can only say once the phone is open.
  • A paired component has failed. On iPhones from the X onward the dot projector assembly is paired to that phone’s own logic board, so a sensor from another phone does not bring Face ID back. What can work is component-level repair that moves your original parts onto a healthy flex, and sometimes that is not possible or not worth the money.

That pairing is why the original sensor assembly has to be moved across during a screen job, and why a straight parts swap is the wrong promise for a Face ID fault. When it cannot be restored we will say so, and you can live with the passcode or weigh the cost against replacing the phone. See iPhone Face ID repair for the diagnosis in detail.

Back glass: laser work, quoted by model

A cracked back on an otherwise working phone is easy to ignore, but broken glass keeps cracking and a crack gives humidity a way in.

The rear glass on all three phones is fused to the frame, as on every glass-backed iPhone from the 8 onward, and separating it cleanly takes a laser and controlled heat. Because it opens the phone, it also affects the factory seal, which we renew.

The price is quoted by model after a free diagnosis, with no figure on a list. The 11 and the two Pro models use different parts: the Pro back has the frosted finish and a cut-out for three lenses. If you are weighing up an iPhone 11 Pro glass replacement cost, check which glass you mean: front glass is the glass-only question above, and the back is this one.

We will tell you honestly whether a cracked back is worth fixing; on a phone you will keep another year or two it usually is. The small glass discs over the camera lenses are separate, smaller jobs. The full process is on our iPhone back glass replacement page.

Camera faults, and the glass lens cover

The iPhone 11 has two rear cameras and the 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max have three, each lens behind its own small glass cover. Check the cover before you blame the camera.

That cover is a separate piece of glass from the camera module. A cracked or scratched one gives hazy, flared or smeared photos that look just like a failing camera while the module is healthy, and replacing a cover is a smaller job than replacing a module. Fog on the outside clears by itself when you step from air-conditioning into Singapore heat; fog inside the glass does not, and means moisture has got in.

A camera app that shows a black screen, will not focus, shakes or buzzes, or a torch that no longer lights, points at the module, its flex or the board. Camera repair is quoted by model after a free diagnosis, with no list price, and the Pro models carry an extra rear camera, so the parts differ from the standard 11.

Battery: seven years in, and the best-value job

For a 2019 phone, the battery is the job most likely to make it feel new again. A lithium cell loses capacity with every year of charging, and seven years is a long time.

Check it first: Settings, then Battery, then Battery Health and Charging, and read Maximum Capacity. Apple treats a battery as consumable once that figure falls below 80 per cent. Below it, iOS can also slow the phone to prevent unexpected shutdowns, which is why an old iPhone often feels slow before it feels short of charge.

Our bands are from around S$60 to S$110 for the iPhone 11 and from around S$80 to S$150 for the 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max. The full story is on our iPhone battery replacement in Singapore page. As with a screen, a battery fitted outside Apple’s own process can make iOS show a message about a part it cannot verify. That is not a fault in the repair.

A symptom that should not wait. If the screen is lifting away from the frame or the phone rocks on a flat table, the battery may be swelling. Stop using and charging it, keep it somewhere cool and open, and bring it in.

Water damage: IP68 is a rating, not a promise

Apple rates all three phones IP68, a rating for a new, factory-sealed phone. It is not a promise about a seven-year-old phone that has been dropped, left in a hot car and perhaps opened before. Treat it as a head start, not protection.

Any repair that opens the phone affects the factory seal. We say so, and we renew the seal as part of the job. A renewed seal restores the barrier, but we would still not test it in a pool.

If yours does get wet, switch it off and leave it off. Do not charge it, because current across a wet board is what turns a survivable dunk into a dead phone. Skip the rice, which wastes the hours that matter. Bring it in the same day, because corrosion keeps spreading after the phone feels dry. Water damage is quoted after a free diagnosis. Our iPhone water damage repair page explains the process, and the guide to what to do in the first ten minutes with a wet iPhone is worth reading before you need it.

Charging port and sound

Every iPhone 11 charges through a Lightning port. A phone that has to be held at an angle to charge more often has a full port than a broken one, because pocket lint packs into the bottom until the cable cannot seat. Shine a torch in, try another cable, and do not dig with a pin, because the contacts are thin and a scraped port is a harder repair than a dirty one. If a clean and a new cable do not help, the port assembly or charging circuit is next, and our iPhone charging port repair page covers it.

Sound has a similar first step. The speaker grille and earpiece are fine mesh that lint and humidity can block while the speaker still works. Check the volume and silent switch, make sure a Bluetooth device has not taken the audio, and record a voice memo to hear whether the earpiece or loudspeaker is weak. Our iPhone sound not working guide runs through it.

Apple, us, or the cheapest shop

Three honest positions, and one of them is not us.

Apple is the better choice if you want only Apple-made parts and Apple’s own process. We are an independent workshop, not affiliated with or authorised by Apple. At seven years old an iPhone 11 is long past a standard warranty, so cover is rarely the question.

We make sense out of warranty, when you want a choice between genuine-grade and quality aftermarket parts where one exists, a written quote before any work, component-level repair rather than parts-swapping, a written warranty on parts and labour, and no repair fee if we cannot fix it. Nothing is sent offshore, and nothing goes to a third party without telling you.

The cheapest shop is sometimes fine and sometimes exactly what it costs. Ask whether the quote is in writing, what happens if they cannot fix it, and whether it is glass-only or a full panel. Our comparison of third-party and Apple repair sets out the trade-offs.

Is a 2019 phone worth repairing?

The iPhone 11 can still run iOS 26 (Apple’s published compatibility list, as of 2026), so software support is not what limits it. Condition is.

If one repair makes an otherwise sound phone properly usable again, repairing wins comfortably. The usual candidates are a battery or a screen, and the battery is the best value of all: the lowest band on this page and the biggest difference in daily use.

If the phone needs a screen, a battery and a port in one visit, the total starts to approach what a better used phone would cost, and we will say so before you spend anything. A Pro with a damaged OLED sits in the dearer screen band, so the screen alone can tip the balance there sooner than on a standard 11.

Remember resale: a cracked phone with a tired battery usually fetches less than the same phone repaired, so fixing a phone you plan to sell anyway can make sense.

Before you bring it in

  1. Back it up. Most repairs never touch your data, but a copy somewhere else is the only real protection.
  2. Check Battery Health. Settings, Battery, Battery Health and Charging. If it says Service or the figure is under 80 per cent, half the diagnosis is done.
  3. Know which model it is. Settings, General, About, Model Name. It decides the screen band.
  4. Note what happened first. A drop, a splash or an earlier repair each change the likely cause.
  5. Have your passcode ready, turn off Find My iPhone if you can, and take the case off. We cannot test a repair properly on a locked phone.

We are at 6 Harper Road, Leong Huat Building #05-02, three minutes from Tai Seng MRT on the Circle Line. Walk-ins get a free diagnosis and a written quote before any work begins.

Manage to fix my iPad mini screen as well as the home button with minimal cost incurred compared to Apple Store. It was a very disappointing with Apple Store that they only cares about selling new products to consumers. At least in here, the staffs help you to save either your iPad, iPhone or even Mac book. Thumb up for them!!

iPhone 11 repair questions, answered

How much does an iPhone 11 repair cost in Singapore?

For the standard iPhone 11, a screen is from around S$85 to S$200 and a battery from around S$60 to S$110. The 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max have OLED screens: a screen is from around S$110 to S$380 and a battery from around S$80 to S$150. Everything else is quoted by model after a free diagnosis.

How much does an iPhone 11 screen replacement cost in Singapore?

On the standard iPhone 11 our band is from around S$85 to S$200, because it uses an LCD panel, the cheaper part to replace. Where you land inside the band depends on whether you choose a genuine-grade or a quality aftermarket panel. Many screen jobs are often done while you wait, subject to parts.

How much does an iPhone 11 Pro or 11 Pro Max screen replacement cost?

Both Pro models use OLED panels, so they sit in our higher band, from around S$110 to S$380, with the larger Pro Max panel toward the top. If the OLED under cracked glass is undamaged, a glass-only repair can cost less than a full panel, but not once the panel itself is damaged.

How much does iPhone 11 Face ID repair cost?

We do not put a number on Face ID before the phone has been looked at, on the 11, 11 Pro or 11 Pro Max. A torn or untransferred sensor flex is often the most repairable case, while a failed component paired to your logic board can need board-level work or may not be worth repairing.

How much does iPhone 11 back glass replacement cost?

Back glass is quoted by model after a free diagnosis. The 11, 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max use different parts, so there is no single figure, and removing the fused rear glass cleanly takes a laser and controlled heat. We will tell you whether a cracked back is worth fixing and give the price in writing first.

How much does an iPhone 11 camera repair cost?

Camera repairs are quoted by model after a free diagnosis, with no list price. Check the cheap possibility first: each rear lens sits behind a small glass cover that is separate from the camera module, so a cracked or scratched cover can make photos look hazy while the module is fine.

How much does an iPhone 11 battery replacement cost in Singapore?

For the standard iPhone 11 our band is from around S$60 to S$110, and for the 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max from around S$80 to S$150. Apple treats a battery as consumable below 80 per cent maximum capacity, which you can check under Settings, Battery, Battery Health and Charging.

Is an iPhone 11 still worth repairing?

Often yes. The iPhone 11 can still run iOS 26 according to Apple's published compatibility list as of 2026, so software support is not the limit. If one repair, usually a battery or a screen, makes a sound phone usable again, repairing is normally cheaper than replacing it. If it needs several, we will tell you before you spend anything.

Is the iPhone 11 waterproof, and can you fix one that got wet?

Apple rates all three IP68, but that rating applies to a new, factory-sealed phone and does not make a seven-year-old phone safe in water. If yours gets wet, switch it off, do not charge it, skip the rice and bring it in the same day, because corrosion keeps spreading after the phone dries.
